Position: Office Aide

Location: Meigs County

Normal Working Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday

Pay Status: Hourly

Rate of Pay: $13.75

Supervised By: Peer Recovery Support Supervisor/Trainer

Employment: At-will



Position Qualifications


Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate’s degree preferred.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role.

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills/working knowledge in the Behavioral Healthcare field.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment.


Office Aide Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.

  • Managing filing systems.

  • Recording information as needed.

  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.

  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.

  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.

  • Coordinating events as necessary.

  • Maintaining supply inventory.

  • Maintaining office equipment as necessary.

  • Aiding with client reception as needed.

  • Review data information in the electronic health records for all clients.

  • Any other duties as assigned.


Project Performance Outcomes:

  • Competently provides efficient and effective clerical responsibilities in a TSO office setting 100% of the time.

  • Consistently and efficiently enters client data into management information system with error-free outcome results.

  • TSO management information database system is consistently updated and timely, error-free reports are produced.

  • Ensures that all necessary supplies are ordered in a timely manner.

  • Client data compilation duties are consistently performed accurately, timely and efficiently 100% of the time.

  • Outcome reporting data is compiled in a self-directed, timely, error-free manner.

  • Performing audits on closed client files.

  • Demonstrates consistent proficiency with the effective utilization of all office equipment.

  • Demonstrates consistent team leadership 100% of the time.

  • Consistently applies effective business proofreading skills to all generated letters, reports, and paperwork 100% of the time.

  • Consistently utilizes professional business communication skills when dealing with TSO employees, as well as communities at large.

  • Participates on agency committees/teams, when appointed, in a cooperative, result-focused manner.

  • Completes professional growth training plan on an annual basis and reviews plan with direct supervisor in a timely manner.

  • Ensures that all timesheets are correct and forwarded to the Administrative Office on time.

  • Effectively tracks site employee’s time in/out of office and informs appropriate parties of whereabouts and availability of such employees.

  • Consistently performs other duties as assigned in cooperative, efficient manner 100% of the time.


Other:

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license/insurance coverage.
