Our agency, TASC of Southeast Ohio, represents the acronym for “Treatment Alternatives to Street Crime,” which has been used nationally since the 1970s, and locally, with our agency in Athens, Hocking, Vinton, Gallia, Jackson, and Meigs counties over the last 30+ years.

It has come to our attention that another program has started using the “TASC” acronym to represent “Taking Action to Address Substance Use in Communities,” which we have no affiliation with.
